DOCUMENTARY - There are people who say blackjack is a game that can't be beat. Those people are wrong, but there's a catch... In order to beat blackjack, you need to be willing to commit to a Mensa-level IQ mastering of the game that includes thousands of hours of simulations, memorizing sets of odds, dealer scouting, card counting and, most importantly once you become an "Advantage Player", the ability to wear an absurd number of costumes and disguises and travel endlessly from one casino to another to avoid detection. You also have to remain unfazed during daily six-figure cash swings and you can't lose your mind when you're caught, harassed, thrown out and banned. If you can do these things, like "KC" does in the mesmerizing Amazon Prime documentary Inside the Edge, you can make millions. If you have any interest in blackjack, this is a must-watch. Twice.

ADAM SANDLER - I love the Sandman. Always have. Always will. If you're reading this, there's a high probability you feel the same way. Despite his enormous fame and success and cult-following, Sandler doesn't typically grant profiles with major publication while promoting a movie. But he recently did for New York Times Magazine and it is a deeeeeep dive on Sandler, his career and his influences. The profile, written by Jamie Lauren Keiles, is terrific and actually covers some new territory involving his Netflix deal. Really enjoyed reading it.

SHAWN KEMP - A buddy of mine was posting about his love for Shawn Kemp on Twitter this week and it brought back some classic "Reign Man" memories. I found this sick highlight reel from the NBA of Kemp's Top 10 Most Devastating Dunks and it was a great trip down Tomahawk and Reverse Windmill lane. The Gary Payton to Kemp lob for a dunk in transition is still easily one of my Top 5 NBA fast break combos in the history of the league. Here's the video.

THANKSGIVING - Every Monday I am the co-host of a Facebook Live Show called Lunch Break with my pal Art Eddy. We've had over 250k viewers this year so far, but maybe the most controversial show was this past Monday, when I claimed that turkey is actually a side dish. I realize that you're likely reading this with a full belly from a feast yesterday, but if you're curious about our show (or the Thanksgiving show in particular), you can check out our post here and make sure you follow to see our future shows. We typically go live Mondays at about 2PM Eastern.
